You’re sick and tired of being that friend who is constantly asking everyone who they know that might be compatible with you. Face it, the search for love is a rough ride. On a scorching Sunday afternoon in Miami a particularly attractive young man was having a conversation with his long distance lover on the phone when a young woman drenched in sweat carrying a handful of boxed took the tumble of a lifetime onto the floor right in front of him smack dab in the center of an apartment lobby. As he looked down at the girl the very first thing he noticed was her long dirty blonde hair covering the floor , as she regained her balance her eyes met his. She smiled revealing slightly crooked teeth that in strange way framed her face perfectly. “Names Sandy. Sorry I’m moving into 8A and well, I’m my own move-In crew and I’m a bit of a klutz”, the young woman said while collecting her fallen belongings. “Tucker Wyatt, my names Tucker do you need a hand with that because it looks like your struggling.”, Tucker asked as he took a few boxes out of her hands causing her to stand upright revealing an incredibly elegant posture. With an approving nod of her head they were off to grab the last of her boxes.

Before long they were in her apartment unpacking. Much to his surprise half of the boxes were filled with posters of famous Star Wars characters and memorabilia from various SCI-FI movies. “A bit of a geek are ya?”, Tucker laughed while giving Sandy a look that insisted he knew everything there was to know about her after having seen this one box.“Well, Dork I am.”, Sandy said in a desperate attempt to imitate Yoda. Tucker was shocked, she wasn’t wearing round harry potter glasses or waving a magic wand around casting spells. She looked too normal to be so dorky he thought. Then suddenly as if actual magic was at play, a thought appeared in Tuckers mind. “Hey are you single? Just asking, I’m taken so I’m asking for my friend Apollo.”. “Like the Sun God?!”, Sandy asked laughing to herself while standing a stuffed Chewbacca doll upright. “Something like that. He’s into the same genre of movies as you are and would loose his mind over these decorations”, Tucker said with a goofy grin. “Well then, who am I to turn down an invitation to meet a god?!”, Sandy said beaming while processing the possibilities that the setup might bring.

A week later Sandy and Apollo had just finished their first date. It was one of those picture perfect nights that could only result in two things, a rocking first date kiss, and hours spent rolling around in your room with butterflies in your stomach. “Well, this is me.”, Sandy said under her breath as they reached her brownstone apartment. “Well then my lady, I hope you had a wonderful night.”, Apollo said while grabbing her and kissing her lightly on the lips. After turning every shade of red imaginable Sandy grinned at Apollo as she said, “Of course I did, you really brightened up my night Sun God.”. “Sun God?”, Apollo said with a confused look on her face. With that Sandy just giggled in spite of herself and hopped up to her apartment door leaving her perfume lingering in the midnight air.

As soon as he heard the apartment door shut Apollo raced around the corner to call Tucker. “Dude it was incredible, I can’t even describe it. We kissed and it felt unlike anything I have ever felt before. It felt right. Usually when I kiss a girl my mind is filled with thoughts of millions of other things. Work, bills, ideas, but this time. Bamn, nothing. Clear as day. She’s really something. Thank you so much.” On the other line of the phone Tucker smiled because he knew he had just helped Apollo meet a soul he could connect too. “Anytime man.”, Tucker said through a grin. As the phone call between them ended it became very clear to Apollo that he was about to embark on a new adventure with someone really special. And it was all thanks to a great matchmaker.
