Theme parks are the perfect places to go on, with fantastic rides, delicious assortments of tasty foods, and the chance to be immersed in a world of characters you have only read about or seen in movies. However, one wrong move can send your day in a totally different direction, so before you make the trip, make sure you have these things with you.

1. The perfect group.

The people you go with can make or break your trip, so you have to make sure you invite the right people for the type of experience you are looking for. If you want to go on the biggest roller coasters in the park, make sure you don't invite people who are afraid of heights!

2. Rain gear

Almost every time I have gone to a theme park, whether it is in my home state of Pennsylvania or tropical Florida, it rained. However, that shouldn't convince you to pack up your bags! By purchasing a parka before your trip, instead of the expensive ones you can purchase at theme parks, you can stay dry and keep the fun times going!

3. Snacks

Maddie Robinson

No one wants to get out of a long line once you've committed- even for food! Make sure to pack something to hold you over between meals!

4. Accessories

I never could've had a duel with my brother or performed magic in Hogsmeade without my wand! Whatever theme park you decide on, you should always bring the right accessories, whether that means Minnie Mouse Ears or a tee with your favorite characters on it.

5. A positive attitude

Rain or shine, the park experience is what you make it! So be sure to have fun no matter what happens on your trip.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
