Season 10 of "The Voice" has already kicked off with four blind audtions (impressive auditions at that) and the judges are locking in all of their picks, as they start to prepare for the cutthroat competition that lies ahead of them.
But, let's be real here: There are only two reasons people watch "The Voice." First off, to marvel over Adam Levine in all of his glory, and secondly, to watch Adam Levine and Blake Shelton go at each other with impressive wittiness. We just can't get enough of their love-hate bromance.
Levine and Shelton will be returning for their 10th consecutive season, whereas Pharell Williams is returning for his fourth season and Xtina has returned to claim her rightful throne for her sixth season. Serving as advisors this season will be Tori Kelly for Team Adam, P.Diddy for Team Pharrell, Patti Labelle for Team Xtina and Gwen Stefani for Team Blake (shocker). Miley Cyrus will also be an advisor for all of the teams during the knockout rounds.
So, to make this season one for the books, I present you with this glorious drinking game for those of you who are 21 years or older. Grab your friends, put a drink in your hand and get ready to have a good night.
Disclaimer: This show airs on the weekdays. It would be best if you recorded or streamed it on the weekend so you are not getting white-girl wasted on a Monday or Tuesday. (Unless, of course, you can handle that level of drinking, then go right ahead, but proceed with caution.)
Here are the rules:
1. Take a sip of your drink every time Blake points his finger at his head as he tries to get the contestant on his team.
2. Drink whenever someone hits their button at the last minute.
3. Take a shot every time Christina decides to belt out a song accompanied by an infinite amount of runs.
4. Take two sips of your drink every time a coach runs up on stage to hug a contestant.
5. Drink every time someone cries on stage because they can't believe they just sang in front of the judges or their emotions just overcame them.
6. Pick a friend to take a sip whenever a coach sends out a sassy tweet about another coach.
7. Chug your drink when a contestant has a sob story and is featured sitting on a couch or at a dining table in their house.
8. Take a sip every time Blake asks a country contestant where they're from.
9. Take a shot every time someone says they had a solo career or a record deal when they were younger, but it just didn't seem to "work out" for them.
10. Drink when a judge turns around too early and they now have a blank stare on their face, in the realization that the contestant isn't actually that good.
11. Take a sip every time Adam tries to go after one of Blake's country artists.
12. Drink whenever someone says this is their "final chance" at becoming an artist.
13. Take a shot every time Pharrell wears a small shirt tucked into even smaller pants.
14. Finish your drink every time a contestant gets a zero-chair turn and a coach said they were about to press their button but they just needed "something more." Which is basically code for saying you were a horrible singer.
15. Take a sip whenever someone says they grew up listening to Christina's albums.
16. Drink every time a family is watching behind the stage and begins to cry or hug someone because a coach turned their chair.
17. Chug your drink whenever Pharrell is wearing some ridiculous hat.
18. Take a shot whenever there is a four-chair turn for a contestant that isn't actually that good.
19. Take a sip when a contestant auditioned for the show before but wasn't chosen and then comes back and makes it on the show.
20. Drink whenever Christina mentions girl power.
21. Pick a friend to take a shot every time a contestant has a mother or father who was a famous musician who taught them all they know about music.
22. Drink every time a coach pushes their button just because another coach pushes it.
23. Chug your drink every time Blake tries to justify that he's the best coach because he's won four times already.
24. Take a shot whenever Christina's hair is bigger than life.
25. Take two sips every time Blake and Adam fight with each other.
