The most overwhelming, mind consuming, body compelling feeling you have ever felt. It’s love and it’s powerful. Love makes you do crazy things. Things you would’ve never thought yourself to do until after you’ve done it.

There are so many different versions of love. Love for your family. Love for your friends. Love for your pets. Love for your passions. Love for your partner.

Every type is important and vital to living a full life.

Love for your family. These people are your blood and no matter what happens, the love never dies. You fight with your parents? Siblings? Cousins? You walk away, come back and it’s like nothing happened.

Love for your friends. It is a love similar to that of your family, but you get to pick these people. The love you have for them is a choice and that’s what makes it special. You love them as if they’re blood, but knowing there is no actually tie makes that bond even stronger.

Love for your pets. Do I even need to explain? Animals are angels that humans do not deserve. Pets are there for you through anything and everything. If you have one, you know. Whether it’s a cat, dog, bird, iguana, pig or fish…that love is forever.

Love for your passions. Your passions are what give you your fire. They’re what drive you to be all that you can be and put your love into something great. Passions give you purpose and the love for them is what will take you far in life.

Love for your partner. Your best friend. Your favorite person. Your go-to. Your love. This love is like no other. You feel as though this person is your other half, your better half, but you are already whole. The power of love is that you combine together to make double the person. Your two strong, whole selves build off one another and this bond is a love that is far different from the rest.

Love is what make the world goes round. If there is no love, there is hate and a world with hate is not a world that is enjoyable to live in. Fill the world with your love and it will be that much better.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
