It takes a special type of person to love winter. Sometimes the snow looks pretty, and sometimes it gets us out of work and school. But at some point, it isn't fun anymore. Here are some of the top #WinterStruggles.
1. How long it takes to get all bundled up.
Jacket, check. Hat, check. Gloves, check. Scarf, check. Should I have worn heavier socks? Do I need an extra layer?
2. Freezing when you step out of the shower.
Can I get back into the hot water?
3. Not being able to text when you have your gloves on.
Yes, I know that there are gloves for that, but not all of us have them.
4. Having a constant runny nose.
All I have to do is step outside, and boom—I need a tissue.
5. Sweating when you get into a store.
Of course every store has their heat blasting, and I have a million layers on.
6. Black ice, or any type of ice for that matter.
Let's see if I can get through this winter without any broken bones.
7. Shoveling.
It's a good workout, but enough is enough at some point.
8. Chapped everything.
Not only do your lips get chapped, your entire face does as well. It's OK if I put chapstick on my ears, right?
9. Heating your car up for extensive lengths of time.
But really, who wants to wake up earlier and fit turning your car on into your schedule?
10. Lack of sunlight.
It's actually proven that a lack of sunlight can put a damper on your mood and motivation to do anything. Come back summer.
And most importantly...
11. Wanting iced coffee and ice cream, but knowing it's just too cold for that.
Winter is almost through. The struggle will only last for a few more weeks and then we will all be enjoying the sun and beach.
