College is an exciting time full of new experiences and new people, but the whole point of college is furthering your education. For some of us, that means lots and lots of science classes. Biology, Chemistry, Nursing, Physics, and any other science majors will definitely understand these struggles.
1. There is an incredible amount of studying.
I don't think high school could have ever prepared me for the hours I would spend in the library or the lab attempting to shove mass amounts of knowledge into my brain before a test.
2. You probably won't get an A on all of your exams.
You could spend an entire week studying for that anatomy final, and still have barely gotten a B.
3. General Science classes can be a little boring.
That's probably an understatement. Learning about photosynthesis was cool in middle school, but by college you're having trouble staying awake in that 8 a.m. General Biology lecture.
4. But whenever you learn something cool in class, you want to tell everyone.
I'm really not sure how I have any friends left after I told them all the exciting details of the reproductive system and the many diseases we did case studies on.
5. Hearing people complain about their art class.
6. Labs can take forever.
When you have to wait 20 minutes for something to completely react before examining it, you can be in the lab for a while.7. However, the worst part about being a science major is that you wouldn't change it for the world.
Because you know that all the hard work will be worth it when you're doing what you love.
