Eating on a budget is hard and the things listed are meals most college students are guilty of consuming at one point or another. Something that we should be mindful of while considering food choices is, is there is a healthier option equaling the same price as the unhealthy meal?
Healthier options tend to be more expensive but we can try to make an effort to add vegetables and/or fruits into our meals. Maybe instead of a cookie or 2 or 5, you could have an apple or orange instead. You can also try low-sodium and sugar-free options. Also, remember to drink a lot of water! Happy eating!
