Being a picky eater is a CHALLENGE. As someone who has been a picky eater their whole life, I know the struggle of what it means to be picky with food.
For all my fellow picky eaters, here are a few problems we all face, especially when it comes to eating out with others.
1. You hate trying new restaurants.
Trying new restaurants can be a big challenge for picky eaters. You never know if you're going to like it or be disgusted by everything on the menu. Nothing is worse than going to a restaurant and not liking what you ordered.
2. You consistently order off the kids' menu.
As a picky eater, you probably only like simple foods such as chicken tenders and fries. This means depending on where you go to eat, you might be left to order off the kids' menu.
3. You are terrified of eating at someone else's house.
When you are picky, eating at someone else's house can also be a struggle. In the end, you probably end up being forced to try something new that you wouldn't have tried ordinarily.
4. Your friends think it's silly.
Not everyone is a picky eater, which means a lot of people don't understand what it is like.
5. Ultimately having to eat something you don't want.
As much as you don't want to sometimes, you just have to eat the food you don't want.
