Hey guys!

So School started a week ago and it already feels like this will be a long semester.

I already have the entire month of September booked with work, trips and extracurriculars that give off a huge overwhelming feel to the pit of my stomach.

I can assume many of you are on that same track -and I want to tell you that everything will be all right in the end.

To the Grade Schoolers: You guys have a long journey ahead of you, with many people to meet, challenges to ensue, tests to take and high schools to choose. You enjoy your childhood as much as you can; hang out with friends, sleep in, and go on adventures (if your folks allow it of course).

To the High Schoolers: Appreciate your childhood/teenage years as well, because responsibility is right around the corner. The ACT/SAT are coming or have already passed, and before you know it, graduation day approaches and the adult life is coming for you whether you're ready or not. Perhaps college is for you, or maybe not, it's your life, and your future! Hopefully you have a little more freedom, but don't forget to spend time with your loved ones as well.

To the College Freshmen: You are going to go through some major adjustments -this could be your first time away from home, getting used to class schedules and the assignment schedules that follow. Heck, there's also the chance that you may go through the freshmen shuffle, freshmen 15 or lose friends as quickly as you make them (because your first year is basically one more jab at high school life before you get completely serious).

The College Sophomores: Round two is here and hopefully those who had undeclared majors have chosen something (I recommend Art, but that's your choice). Hopefully you are more adjusted to your school too.

The Juniors: I'm in your shoes now, and it's amazing how fast those first two years went by. Senior year is coming really fast. Hopefully those internships have been dealt with or will be coming next summer. Try to make the best your remaining years.

Seniors: After this semester, you're basically on the final weeks. Work Hard. Study Hard. Good luck on your endeavors and welcome to the real world. Hopefully your friendships shall last and your future will be great.

Okay peeps, I'm currently writing this on a late night (that might end up being a habit) but regardless of where you are in life, may the heavens shine on us all, and watch over us as we near a very dark time in our lives. Until then, you guys have a great week.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
