1. When you first install the app, you can't believe you are actually going to use it.

8. And then you actually realize that Tinder is kind of fun.

9. Until you super like someone by accident and have never felt such initial terror in your life.

11. Someone messaged you, "What's up?" OK, calm down and play it cool. Don't say something stupid.

12. The good thing is, you can always lie about where you guys met if you end up getting married.

13. When you run into an ex-hookup.

14. You: Oh yeah I just matched with this really cute guy/girl!

Friend: "No way, so did I!"

15. When you try to come up with a witty enough response to a message.

16. Does this person have a six pack, is abnormally nice, and is super adventurous? Definitely the one.

17. But, then again, who needs to date people when you can get a dog instead?

18. When your fingers start to get tired and your hand starts to mold to the best swiping position.

19. "OK, I'll get off in like ten minutes."

*30 minutes later* Oops.

20. When you accidentally swipe past someone really attractive because you were too involved in swiping left...No no no no no please come back.

21. And then you see the reason you joined Tinder in the first place...your ex.

22. When you discover that the only reason everyone is actually using Tinder is to have his or her attractiveness validated.

23. When you see that a guy/girl you matched with is in one of your classes.

24. When you realize that most people are incapable of actually maintaining a conversation.

25. You start to recognize the pattern of people posting pictures with illegal substances in order to seem cool.

26. When your friends are all getting in relationships without Tinder and you are still single, you start to question its effectiveness.

27. When people start messaging you with "heyyyy." So creative and so original. You definitely got my attention.

28. When you start to get too attached to a person you are messaging and they stop replying and you are crushed.

29. But then you realize you should just uninstall the app because you only joined to feel included.

30. And, there is finally the realization of "Wow, I just wasted a lot of time."

31. So, you say goodbye to Tinder.

32. Until you reinstall the app again the next day because the chance for love is still out there.
