Dear Santa,
Hi, Santa! I hope the North Pole is treating you well. Hopefully, it’s not too busy this year because there have been a lot of naughty boys and girls on the loose. You should’ve seen all the boys and girls on the weekends. If you ask me, I don’t think 80 percent of them deserve presents. But since I am so dedicated (I’m actually writing a letter to you), I think that I should be getting a little present from you this year, even if I was not the most innocent girl.
I’m not asking for new toys, clothes, or a new cell phone this year. Actually, everything that I want does not involve money! So please, consider my request for this year, Santa.
My Xmas list.
- A 3.5 GPA for this semester! Santa, I’m not asking for a 4.0, here. A 3.5 is all I want, please help me out.
- A stable job after college. All I want is a job that will help me stand on my feet and not force me to live with my parents after college. If you can’t make that happen, a good internship would be very nice, too! I just want to make sure I have freedom after I graduate.
- A special someone who will fall deeply in love with me. I don’t want a middle school crush or a f**k boy. I want a real man, Santa. Just like you; loving with a stable job.
- A new liver. I know this is a lot to ask for, but I would love a new liver. I know I should’ve taken better care of my liver during freshmen year, but I think it’s a little too late for that. I promise I will take better care of it this time.
- Sleep. Is there any way that you can make time go slower? Since you are so magical, I thought maybe you can stop time so I can take a one hour nap each day.
- College diploma in four years. I’m getting really tired of school, Santa; if I don’t graduate within four years, there might be a chance that I will not make it out alive. My motivation to study and do homework is descending at a rapid pace.
I told you Santa -- nothing that I want for Christmas this year involves money at all! So please use your special powers to grant me these wishes! I will be oh so grateful and treasure them forever.
Sincerey,
Struggling College Student
