My three wonderful siblings (Luke, Janelle, Morgan) and I were all born at the same time, and yes, that makes us quadruplets, or "quatriplets" as my Grandpa always mistakenly said. Needless to say, growing up was and is still quite an experience for us. Because many of you probably don't know what being a quadruplet, or raising one, is like, I'd like to give you an inside look into what we've experienced as a family.
Pros:
1. You always have somebody to hang out with, even if your friends aren't free!
2. You always have someone to share the jail house with.
3. You always have someone that supports you.
4. Holidays and celebrations are a blast!
5. If you can't figure what you want to wear, you can always copy your siblings.
6. There are always plenty of adventures.
7. You can practice your sports together.
8. There's a good chance that you'll have classes with at least one (if not all) of your siblings, so you can help each other with schoolwork.
9. You can always "squad" up.
10. Hugs are never far away.
Cons:
1. Your parents have to help pay for school (and many other expenses) for all of you at the same time.
2. You have to share driving time when getting your hours for driver's training.
3. Caring for four children at once is not an easy task.
4. You never have much privacy from your siblings, especially if you have to share rooms.
Though the fact that we are quadruplets certainly has presented its obstacles and challenges for us and our family, it has provided even more blessings, and none of us would trade it for anything. Growing up as a quadruplet has been a unique part of my life that I'll cherish forever.
