With the 76ers in the NBA playoffs and having already won a postseason series, Philadelphia is beginning to see The Process pay off. The most popular player on the team, Joel Embiid, has been made to wear a mask on the court due to a facial injury. Even though he doesn't enjoy wearing the mask, Embiid has embraced a new persona: The Phantom Of The Process.

Regardless of how their series against the Boston Celtics goes down, Philadelphia should still be ecstatic about the bright future this team has. Inspired by the lyrics of Andrew Lloyd Weber, here is the signature song of the spirit of...The Process Of The Night...

I have brought you,

To the seat of Sam Hinkie's Throne!

To this kingdom where all must pay homage to the Process, Process.

You have come here,

For one purpose and one alone!

Since the moment I first saw you play,

I have needed you with me,

To serve me,

To play for The Process

The Process. . .

Ping Pongs Sharpen,

Heightens Each Sensation.

Lotteries stir and wakes imagination.

Silently conventions,

Abandon their defenses. . .

Slowly, gently, rookies unfurl their splendor,

Grasp it, sense it,

Talented and tender,

Turn Your Face Away

From The Haters Misguided Faith.

Turn Your Thoughts Away

From Cold, Unfeeling, Short Sight,

And Listen to The Process Of The Night. . .

Close Your Eyes and Surrender to Championship Dreams

Purge your thoughts of the losses you knew before

Close your eyes, let the winning start to soar.

And you'll cheer, as you've never cheered before. . .

Softly, deftly, The Process shall caress you,

Hear it, feel it, secretly possess you.

Open Up Your Mind!

Let Your Fantasies Unwind!

In this System, which you know you cannot fight.

The System of The Process of the Night.

Let Your Mind start a journey through a strange new game

Leave all thoughts of the game you knew before,

Let this team take you where you long to be!

Only then, can O'Brien belong to Philly. . .

Floating, falling, sweet intoxication.

Watch me, TRUST me,

Savor each sensation,

Let the dream begin!

Let your winning side give in!

To the Power of The Process that is Right

The Power of The Process of the Night!

You alone can make the Ball take Flight,

Help me make The Process of the Night . . .

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
