Phones and social media are the defining things in our generation. We have more access to information than any other generation and we have new ways of communicating with people worldwide. But is this technology making us worse off?
Early this week, I was sitting in my recording science class. We were discussing wave lengths and my professor began talking about how many waves of stuff are going through our body constantly. During this time, the human race is having more wavelengths of stuff going through us than every before. And this is affecting us in more ways than we ever thought.
Let's talk about wavelengths. Where do they come from and what are they? This energy is coming from cell towers, radio waves, the technology we are currently holding and satellites. These forms of energy is coming from any and all directions, and is constantly going through our bodies. And some of these waves are low energy and some are very large, which contain a lot of energy. What are they doing to us?
Back in the day before modern technology, there were less "later in life" diseases, like Alzheimer's and other brain disorders. And now, there is a chance than one in ten of all people could get these. So how, in the fifty years time, have this numbers risen so dramatically? These numbers started to rise as technology became more advanced. Is there a correlation? Scientist say that all of this issues are genentics, but as I recall it take tens of thousands of years for something to be genetically modified to effect 10% of the population. What caused this drastic change?
I honestly believe that we are doing the damage to ourselves. We are constantly consuming things from technology and there is no stop to any of the wavelengths or energy. And I am not talking about tiny waves. There are high energy waves entering our body all the time. And there is no protection from them.
So think about. Is the technology doing more harm than we thought?
