If The 'Pretty Little Liars' Were Your Sorority Sisters

I have a strong feeling that "A" would be a real b*tch.

Recruitment is exciting for everyone involved, but the potential new members arguably have the best surprise waiting for them at the end of the week: hundreds of new sisters. The girls that they run to their new organization with, get initiated with and possibly graduate with will become some of their closest friends in their sorority. With every pledge class that comes through, there are some perfect fits and some bad apples, it’s just how the system works. So, which category would some television’s most well-known smile-fakers, sweet-talkers and liars fall into?

1. Hanna Marin

Hanna would be the dream addition to any sorority. She loves hanging out with her friends more than anything and has the best taste in both fashion and blunt humor. When you text in the GroupMe asking for literally any article of clothing, Hanna is the first to respond offering for you to borrow hers. Plus, she has a take no sh*t, confident attitude. Automatic bid.

2. Spencer Hastings

Spencer (obviously) would have had one of the highest GPAs of all the girls during recruitment and definitely wore a field hockey skirt with her Open House round t-shirt. She probably held some of the best conversations during the rounds and is 100% a legacy to a top-tier sorority on campus. Voted most likely to break a record and hold every position humanly possible in her sorority.

3. Emily Fields

Emily was the girl who flat-out amazed everyone at how she balances all of her activities. Swimming for a college team, making great grades to maintain her scholarship, and probably holding some sort of student government position. On top of all of this, she would also be the lifesaving girl that offers to help set up for literally everything. If you’re the Emily of your sorority, know that we would be lost without you.

4. Aria Montgomery

Aria showed up to her first round of recruitment with hot pink feathers in her hair, black eyeshadow and combat boots on with her pastel blue, Panhel-approved t-shirt, and rocked it. Not only is she head of banner crew, but she designs all of the event t-shirts and basically everybody wishes they were as artsy and cute as her. NBD.

5. Alison DiLaurentis

You can never tell if she actually likes you, or if she needs a favor. Alison is the girl that everybody loves to hate, love and talk about simultaneously. She probably stirs up a lot of drama in the chapter, but upon first meeting her, you can’t tell why because she raved about your skirt that you weren’t even sure about wearing. Watch out- there’s a reason behind the rumors.

6. Mona Vanderwaal

.

Mona, unlike Alison, is straight up about where your friendship stands, but even if you two aren’t friends, she probably has your respect. She was a little strange coming into the house for the first time, but the more conversations she had, the more the chapter agreed that even though she has major crazy eyes, she’s hard not to love

7. Jenna Marshall

Jenna seemed so perfect during recruitment rounds: confident, kind and beautiful. What more could any sorority be looking for? However, shortly after bid day, she turned into a snake and stabbed all of the first sisters to reach out to her in the back. You can never be sure who she’s really friends with, you just know it’s whoever can get her what she needs at the time.

Just like in real life, some of the girls are easy to love at first and then turn on you, and some come off shy and awkward and turn into the sassiest, most fun girl to be friends with. How can you tell who is who? There’s really no surefire way except to cross your fingers and hope for the best. Happy rushing, ladies!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
