The summer season is coming to a close, but there’s no need to be upset.
Personally, fall is my favorite season. I love everything about it; it makes me excited for winter to come. Here are many reasons why it is my most preferred season.
1. School.
You and your friends are reunited. It’s that time of the year where Greeks put on their fall recruitment. It’s football season, so it’s time to cheer on your school. Homecoming is upon us, so get ready for some spirited, friendly competition.
2. New Seasons of Your Favorite Television Shows.
You’ve been waiting patiently for your favorite TV show to be back on air, and now you don’t have to wait much longer. Or maybe you’re waiting for the new season to come out so the previous season can go on Netflix. Either way, it’s time to catch up on what you’ve been missing.
3. Weather.
You don’t have to worry about your skin catching on fire when you take that first step outside. The weather’s not too hot and not too cold. Days are finally bearable without that radiating sun and nights are a perfect temperature. You can step outside and breathe in that fresh air.
4. The Colors.
Trees are changing colors, leaves are everywhere…being able to step outside and see the different colors fall has to offer is exhilarating to the eye. You can take a walk in the park and feel the calming comfort of the environment.
5. Clothing.
Layers become your best friends. You can wear all the sweaters you want. The coziness you can feel from just being in your comfy clothes.
6. Halloween.
Everyone loves an excuse to dress up and eat as much candy as they want. Making costumes is fun, no matter how old you are. All the candy options that are put out in the Halloween aisles in supermarkets are almost as good as the Easter aisles.
7. Thanksgiving.
One of the best times of the year where you get to spend time with your family. Whether you’re spending time with your blood family, or your family away from home, you are celebrating what you are most thankful for. Thanksgiving is almost like a pregame for Christmas to prepare for family-time, giving you a taste of what it’s like finally being back with your family.
8. Pumpkin everything.
Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin patches, pumpkin pies, pumpkin bread…do I need to say more?
