Brothers. Can't live with 'em, but we certainly can't live without 'em. Here's a list of just a few of the undeniable advantages that accompany growing up with only brothers.
1. Unlimited time in the bathroom.
Feel free to take your time in your shared bathroom, ladies! If you are the only female child, your bathroom dominance can (and should be) asserted at all times.
2. Abundance of comfy clothes.
Whether you've run out of clean PJ's or just want some oversized clothing to lounge in, brothers always have a great stockpile.
*added bonus* They most likely won't ask to borrow yours in return.
3. You're extremely fast.
You've probably been too late to the pantry once before and had to learn the hard way that brothers live by the "snooze you lose" rule. If you aren't fast enough, your brothers will beat you to just about everything.
4. 24/7 workout buddies.
Chances are, your brothers will always have enough energy to accompany you in any physical activity at any given time of day. If you invite them to play a friendly game of catch in the yard, they won't understand why you're panting and calling it quits after 2+ hours of excessive exercise.
5. Your speaking volume is impressive.
If you weren't born with it, you must acquire it. Without the ability to project your voice, you may run the risk of never being heard over your brothers. The artistry of being louder than your brothers is a talent in itself.
6. Your advice is always needed.
Being the only sister means your opinion remains constantly relevant. Even if your brothers aren't ready to openly admit it, they depend on you. A sister's guidance (and fashion sense) is always appreciated.
7. Endless protection.
Regardless if you were dogging each other this morning, your brothers will always be there to protect you in any occasion, no matter what. They will drop what they are doing to help you at any moment.
8. Lifelong best friends.
No matter how much they irritate you and make you want to pull your hair out (or even throw a couple of punches), you and your brothers will have an unbreakable friendship that will last a lifetime...
...Until you eat the last piece of pizza.
