So, you've done the typical Florida spring break, and you're just not that into sitting by the beach and alternating between lazing around and partying way too hard. So what else could you do for spring break?
Maybe this?
Or this?
If that appeals to you... buy your airplane tickets as soon as possible to visit these great stoner destinations!
1. Alaska
Have you always wanted to see the northern lights? Can you imagine seeing it while high? Go there for this spring break with all your stoner friends and enjoy the snow, the snuggles, and the greens. As the fourth state to legalize recreational marijuana, Alaska should definitely be on your travel list. Go to Glacier Bay National Park to see this cute otter swimming or cruise through some beautiful glaciers.
2. Oregon
If you love your bud with a side of beer, look no further. Portland is the place for you. Be sure to check out this helpful beer and cannabis flavor pairing guide to find that perfect combination of flavors, foam and temperature. While in Portland, make sure to stop by the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area and gaze at the breath-taking water falls.3. Colorado
You will find scenic lookouts anywhere and everywhere in Colorado. Light up and simply admire the nature around you. Be prepared to be absolutely mesmerized by the literal works of God at the Garden of the Gods. The entire state is simply gorgeous, so enjoy.
4. Washington
As an out-of-state traveler, you may possess up to one ounce of weed in Washington. That is plenty to last you and your friends seven days. Remember to check out the EMP Museum and its art, music and popular culture exhibits, such as their Jimi Hendrix and Star Wars-related pieces.
5. Uruguay
It's a free world down there. Smoke a joint and start marijuanderlusting! Chill at one of the beaches or walk around the historic towns. Whatever you do, you will meet some great people, eat some great food and enjoy the great vibes there.
6. Cambodia
If you so desire and want to go to somewhere in Asia for spring break, Cambodia is definitely one of the most 420 friendly countries. While weed is still illegal, there are restaurants that serve herb-infused food, such as "happy pizza." After eating the pizza, go explore this beautiful country. Imagine the thoughts you will have, while walking the path toward the Angkor Mat with these monks. Simply extraordinary.
7. The Netherlands
If you really desire that stereotypical stoner vacation, go to the Netherlands. Just go and check that off your list, because I know it is certainly on my list. As cliché as it may sound, Amsterdam is absolutely breathtaking. It also helps that weed is decriminalized in the Netherlands.
8. Portugal
Weed has been decriminalized here since 2001, so come take advantage of the progressive cannabis laws. Check out beautiful places like this incredible bridge, the Ponte de D. Luis. It is absolutely stunning and worth spending some time admiring.
9. Find a Place on Bud and Breakfast
If you feel overwhelmed with these options and still don't know where to go, try out Bud and Breakfast, the Airbnb for stoners. Find your perfect spring break hotel or house somewhere nearby. Sometimes, your hosts may leave some bud on your pillow or by the door as a welcome gift, so be sure to take advantage of that.10. Home
Sometimes it's nice to just go home. Go hit up your high school dealer; they've got you covered. Your favorite smoking spots are still there waiting for you. Your friends are still there. You're sure to have a good time.
11. Your Dorm
If you're on a budget or if you're lazy like me, then just stay on campus and convince all your friends to stay with you. Even if you don't have a super cool set up, you'll still have a blast.
