We Need To Stop Obsessing Over 'The Perfect Couple' And Look Into Our Own Lives

Social media is a huge outlet for so many different couples of various ages going through their lives in the same ways that we are put under a huge spotlight. Unfortunately for some, the pressures are too difficult to even cope with due to the constant following insinuating for them to stay together or setting these high expectations that are insanely difficult to reach. We tend to forget that these people have lives and emotions of their own that they are dealing with on a daily basis. So many fans become so invested in these relationships, that if these couples break up it's even worse on them as they are constantly reminded about the other person through memes, videos, and pictures.

Yes, it's difficult to get through any break-up, but being constantly reminded of the person and why you broke up must be so difficult. There are so many couples who are constantly admired by different fan bases which are truly amazing, but it's when the fans become angry or gain an emotional connection to the relationship that it could truly upset those who are in it. We need to look at the big picture and realize that this isn't something that we should be involved with, although we can support them and their happiness.

It's upsetting that followers and supporters who are supposed to be there for the people they admire decide to make the break-ups, rumors, or even fights much more than they are. Talking about these difficulties in a relationship that you don't even know is so unfair to the people who are in it. The second that someone says something on twitter about a couple that everyone loves, it's immediately drawn out of proportion and people are hurt and affected by the tweet. I think that we all tend to forget that our words could truly impact the lives of so many people. Even if you're sitting on your phone or behind a computer screen composing a tweet, your words are still being sent out and read by at least someone.

Instead of bashing these people in relationships and constantly checking in to see if they are broken up, we should support the individuals in whatever they feel is necessary to share and focus on our own lives and what may be our own personal struggles.

Relationships are difficult and there's absolutely nothing wrong with following two people that you absolutely love and want the same for yourself. With that said, let's remember to also give space and respect towards those who may be going through certain situations that are difficult and need to be dealt with by the two individuals who are in the relationship. Your time will come and you will find someone who makes you happy as your absolute dream couple. Remember that everything is not what it seems and it's crucial that we allow for change to happen instead of trying to make it occur from our social platforms.

Reflecting on your own life and comparing your own thoughts to the way you feel about celebrity relationships may change your own perception of what you want in yours.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
