Why We Need Old TV Shows Back

Attention Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, we demand our favorite throwbacks.

Remember "All That?"

"Lizzie McGuire?"


"As Told By Ginger?"


If any of these shows ring a bell, then you and I are on the same page. I can't put my finger on why, but I can't get enough of these old TV shows. The nostalgia!

Don't get me wrong, the new shows on these stations are pretty cool. Like "Girl Meets World," which is basically a spinoff of "Boy Meets World." The idea of these spinoff shows is to show a continuation, or second generation of the show's main cast members and their plot lines. One of my all time favorite throwback TV shows turned spin off is "Full House" and "Fuller House."

"Fuller House" is a spin off of DJ Tanner's life, her being the eldest child, she chooses to stay in her childhood home and raise her three sons with the help of her sister Stephanie Tanner and best friend Kimmy Gibbler. Sounds similar? It basically goes off of the original plot line of Danny Tanner raising his three daughters in a home in San Francisco along with his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis and good friend Joey Gladstone.

However, these spinoffs don't seem to compare to our beloved throwbacks. Comment below some of your favorite throwback TV shows!
