SURPRISE! Samsung just came out with two new galaxies, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and with the new features, who wouldn’t want to own of these bad boys? So let’s take a closer look at these features, that might just make some iPhone users ditch their phone for this one:
1. It’s water resistant.
And what I mean by that is not just the usual ‘the phone won’t get destroyed if a speck of water is dropped on it.’ I mean it is so resistant that if it gets dunked into a pool of water (more like 5 feet) it won’t get destroyed( as long as it doesn't stay there for more than 30 minutes). Say bye-bye to rice bags.
2. Enhanced camera.
Of course, with every new phone the camera becomes more powerful. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be the first smartphones to have dual-pixel technology with quick auto-focus that causes less blurring and a sensor that allows details to be caught in low light.
3. Memory.
The last Galaxy had many Samsung users disappointed because of the loss of two valuable aspects of what made an iPhone and a Galaxy so different with one of them being the loss of being able to insert a memory card into the Galaxy S6. Be happy Samsung fans because it is back! With a memory card you can now add an additional 200 GB of memory.
4. Wireless charging.
And of course, what would the new Galaxy be without its Samsung’s famous wireless charging. Wireless charging was first introduced with the S6 line, and of course the S7 line wouldn't be left out.
5. Almost unbreakable.
Samsung is getting closer and closer to making an unbreakable galaxy as the S7 line will have Gorilla Glass 5 protection which makes the phone almost unbreakable.

7. Always on Display feature.
This new feature on the S7 allows users to check the time without waking up or turning on their phone. For example, if you don't have a free hand while getting ready in the morning and would like to know the time, take a peak at your phone and the time will be staring right at you like a digital clock. The screen will automatically turn off when face down or in a pocket. And yes, you read correctly, it even shows the time when the phone is off. Cool feature huh?
