My dog is my sidekick, my mom is my walking contradiction,

but my dad is a man of many talents,

a man of many skills,

The MacGyver, the Mechanic,

There is nothing he can’t fix,

Cars, trucks, jet-skis,

if he had to fix a tank,

he’d find a way to fix that too.

You name it, he’ll fix it or be stubborn enough to learn how to fix it,

Because he’s my dad

The Indiana Jones, the Outdoor-man,

The traveler at heart,

The explorer of new adventures

Of places yet to be explored,

He’d rather be lost in a forest than a mall,

And live out an adventure like Indiana Jones

That’s my dad

The Knight, the Protector,

He wouldn’t harm a spider, but give it another chance at life,

He would give a raccoon a home,

He’s not the hunter, but the animal protector,

He would protect his family,

That’s because he’s my dad

The Comedian, and Trickster

I can argue that I get his sarcastic comments from him,

The jokester and trickster

Never a good idea to make a bet with him,

Because he will outsmart you

That’s because he’s my dad

He’s my dad: stubborn at times, the story teller, and ‘listener,

A man of many talents skills.

But he’s my dad, and I wouldn’t replace him
