Trump has been accused of posing as his own publicist after Marc Fisher, of the Washington Post, obtained recordings of an interview with a man named John Miller.
The man was cited as using similar idioms and phrases as Trump.
Trump has said that it was not him on the recording, even though he has been heard saying he has been known to go by the name John Baron.
Knowing how much Trump loves himself, it seems odd that he would pose as anyone but himself. But being in love with yourself doesn't build credibility if you're the one singing your own praises. I would argue it does the opposite effect.
Trump has said that he was not posing as his publicist, according to CNN's Erin Burnett's Show, OutFront.
When a reporter tried to get in contact with Trump regarding the legitimacy of his publicist, the line allegedly cut and was unavailable, according to Trump's Secretary at the time. But hey, that could have been Trump too.
My question is, why couldn't he have hired a person to do this for him? Would it have been too hard to part with some of the money he earned from his back-breaking work? (The back's of others, of course)
Maybe it was too daunting a task, or maybe Trump fired them all; he seemed to be good at that.
From author, to businessman, to father, these are all titles Trump has posed as, and has succeeded at every one of them, according to him, John Miller and John Baron.
Should the next P.O.T.U.S be full of B.S.? If we went off precedent for President, then yes.
Being the (Illegitimate) leader of the free world is a major responsibility, big shoes to fill. If we went off glove size, Trump might not be the best candidate, but O.J. might be in the running.
Whatever the result of this situation, I believe that Trump will still be the front runner; nothing has slowed him down yet, so why should we believe this incident that occurred twenty-five years ago will do any different?
