For this week, our team decided to make a video about what we love most about the holidays. Given the hectic nature that comes with the end of the semester since finals are just around the corner, it was an understandably busy time for many of our team, so five of us convened to shoot the video.
Sophomores James Cotumaccio, Ana Maria Bandazian, Lucia Gabriello and Devan Markham participated in the video with me. While some of us discussed how we enjoy spending time with our friends and family, we also mentioned how we love certain holiday traditions that our families have and how we love when the weather changes right before Christmas.
I recorded the clips of us on my iPhone and then compiled the footage in iMovie by importing them off of my desktop. Next, in iMovie, I added title sequences that include the context of why the video was created, as well as all of our names and our respective graduation years at Fairfield. Finally, during the transition parts of the film, I overlaid Andy Williams’ “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” to add a little extra holiday cheer to the video.
