Hey there,

Not many people are lucky enough to say that they have a friend like you in their lives. I was so blessed to have found someone amazing to be my best friend, who became the little sister that I never had. It's crazy to think we have only been friends for such a short period of time but yet our memories together seem like we've known each other forever. It seemed like just when everything was beginning to fall apart you walked into my life bringing so much laughter and joy. Friends like you are one in a million and I am thankful that we became so close. What started out as just taking random pictures here and there during basketball season, led to car rides to softball practice everyday which created a friendship that is still on going even though I am an hour away at college. The random "I miss you" and "when are you coming home" texts seem to help me get through the long weeks at school. I became so close to you and your family through all the baseball games, dinners, car rides, haunted trails, and going over to your house to hang out. I feel loved and supported when I'm with y'all and I am blessed to spend time with y'all. Even when I am struggling the most y'alls support never stopped, and I am so thankful for the love that y'all have shown me over the past year.

If anyone would've ever asked me a year ago if I would step foot on to my old high schools campus I would've looked at them like they are crazy but now I couldn't imagine not going to countless basketball, softball, and even baseball games to watch your brother. I have found a best friend that has become family to me and I couldn't explain how thankful I am to have such an amazing "little sister" like you. Nobody will ever understand how much you mean to me and to be quite honest I don't think that you will either. The countless GoBurrito dates, concerts, and baseball games that we have sat through together has created many fond memories that I will cherish forever. I cannot explain how thankful I am to have found such a great friend like you to go on Sonic runs with, and share great times with throughout the years. I will never be able to explain how thankful I am to have you and your family in my life. Y'all have become such a great support system for me and has shown me so much love through the past few months when it seemed like everything was falling apart. Y'all have become family to me and I could never thank each and everyone of you enough for the great times we have gotten to share together. Thank you for not only being my best friend but becoming the little sister I never had, and sharing so many laughs with me. I have so many memories that you are apart of and I cannot wait to create many more with you in the years too come. You have impacted my life greatly, and I am so thankful for that. Love you to the moon and back!

Lots of love,

Your Best Friend

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
