In every friend group there is the person who seemingly has their life together more than the rest of the group. Who is the one you call when all else fails or when you no idea how to do something. Who gives the best advice. Who looks out for your well being better than you do. Who will drop everything and come to your aid. Who loves you unconditionally. This person is lovingly referred to as the group "mom." And if you're that person of your friend group here is ten things you know to be true!
1. No matter how much good advice you give sometimes your "children" end up doing the one thing you told them not to do.
2. Then they come back all mopey because the thing that told them would end badly end badly, and you're just like.
3. But you comfort them anyway because while they are idiots they're your idiots.
4. When they succeed you can't help but feel proud of them. So you just gotta do your happy dance!
5. When someone hurts your babies and you have to go all mama bear.
6. You love embarrassing them in public because they get all upset and look at you like.
7. When they introduce you to their new significant other and you have to make sure you approve.
8. You see them looking hot as frick so you have to applaud them like they're on the runway.
9. They tend to annoy the heck out if you for no apparent reason.
10. But at the end of the day not matter how much they annoy you or piss you off, they mean the world to you and you would not have it any other way!
So group "moms" hug you "babies" a little tighter next time because you know you wouldn't be the person you are without them.
