We've all been there. You have an essay due at midnight or an exam to study for and you're putting it off. Why? Because procrastination is an all too familiar friend and there's about a thousand things that seem more appealing than getting your work done. In fact, you might be putting off an assignment by reading this article at this very moment.

Denial

The day is progressing forward and you're still in denial that you even need to accomplish anything today. That clock isn't going to move backwards.

Distraction

Finding anything and everything to do instead of working. Amplify this times 10 if your friends are trying to hang out with you. You will pick your friends every time guaranteed.

Anxiety

When you fully realize the amount of work you've put off and now all of a sudden the responsibility of it all hits you. Hyperventilating is perfectly normal.

Bargaining

At this point you've come to the realization that you actually must be productive. But that doesn't necessarily mean it has to be all at once, right? Several study breaks and hours later you might have a paragraph done.

Getting It Together

Although it might be 11:59 pm, you finally completed your work and it's a great feeling. It might have been a laborious process but you're finally done. For now that is, but come your next assignment you'll be back to square one.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
