Can you believe it has been 10 years since "The Hills" premiered on MTV and Lauren Conrad made her official debut starring in her own show? I am still in shock as this was my favorite show and I would cancel any plans I had to make sure I was in front of the TV on Wednesday nights.

Here are some of Lauren Conrad's most famous sayings over the years:

“Flowers mean I’m sorry, chocolates mean I love you.” (season one)

Now, I know when I was 12 years old I truly believed that if someone sent me flowers that it meant they did something wrong, and I was always excited for chocolates because lets be honest, who doesn't like chocolates? But 10 years later, I can't agree that flowers are only meant for "I'm sorry" or chocolates mean "I love you"...but I can say both can mean either statement in many different instances.

“Like everyone, trust nobody.” (season two)

This is something I still like to try to live by even 10 years later. Lauren has always been one of my biggest role models and idol, and she was always wise for her age. In life, there will be those people you trust that you really shouldn't, and there will be others that you should trust, but because someone in the past broke your trust you have built a wall that blocks everyone out just to be safe. Your wall might be high, but try and remember to like everyone, and slowly bring your wall down as trust is built.

“There’s a difference between good people who do bad things and bad people who do bad things.” (season three)

This quote can get very confusing and at 14 years old, I was definitely confused by it at first, but it is so true. There are plenty of good people out there in this world, but they for some reason end up doing terrible things. Than there are those people who truly are bad and do even more terrible things. The people that are bad and do bad things are those who are toxic to your life, and you should look to remove them as soon as you realize the person they truly are. Everyone makes mistakes and occasionally does bad things, but that does not mean they are a bad person.

“Don't cry over someone who wouldn't cry over you.” (season four)

This quote in my opinion will always be true for any girl. We can all be overly emotional, care too much, and cry often. That is OK, but we have to realize when we are constantly crying over someone we care so much about that we know deep down would never be this emotional in regards to us. Guys do not always have to show emotion, you do not have to see them cry, but you do have to know when they would never cry over you.

“Life’s tough. Get a helmet.” (season five)

Pretty self explanatory! Life is tough, but you need to be tougher. There will always be someone or something trying to knock you down, you are tougher than that! But if that someone or something does knock you down: stay strong, fight and pick yourself back up.

These are only a few quotes from my favorite Hills star and you all know there is plenty where that came from. I don't know about you but after writing this I feel even older, and I really miss The Hills. Always remember your worth, and never forget Lauren Conrad and her wise words. I hope you all enjoy re-watching every episode as soon as you get a chance and experiencing each moment when these quotes were said.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
