The Friendships Formed With Drunk Girls In The Bathroom

There really is no bond like the one between two drunk girls in a bathroom. No, these friends aren't forever and, no, they won't be standing next to you at your wedding, but who else will tell you that you smell nice and have pretty hair at 2 a.m.? These unpredictable friends are truly unique because they are completely honest with you, and you will also never see them again. These friends will straight up tell you that you deserve better than the guy you came with and that you have lipstick smeared all over your face, and that's why these friendships are held so dear to our heart.

These are the different friendships formed between drunks girls in the bathroom.

1. Mutual bonds.

One second you are washing your hands, the next second you're sharing your love for pizza with the girl next to you. No one will ever know how these conversations come up, or why all of a sudden we feel the need to bond with someone we don't know, but what we do know is just how great these short interactions are.

2. Complimenting each other.

One question that no girl has yet to answer is why we all become so nice to each other after a few drinks. Regardless of whether we have a reasoning to it or not, when girls enter a bathroom drunk they all miraculously become the worlds best ego boosters. A girl may come up to you and tell you that you look amazing in your outfit, just for the heck of it. This is definitely not something she would do when sober, but hey we're not going to question it.

3. Fixing each other's makeup.

Most of the time, we just go into the bathroom to do a quick retouching on our make up. You and about five other girls will all probably be lined up along the mirror, trying to get as close as you can so you can put your lipstick on exactly right despite drunk, shaky hands. This is when a fellow lip stick pioneer may tap you on the shoulder and offer to give you a hand. Now she is using all the concentration she has to put on your red lipstick and just like that, you have a new friend.

4. Supporting each other.

From lending a shoulder to cry on when ones date decides to ditch, to offering up tampons and gum like its candy, drunk girls in a bathroom are our best support system. They are the ones who will hold your stall door for you when the lock is broken and give you toilet paper when you're begging for help. They truly are the heroes of the night, and the ones we would definitely want to thank at a later date.

5. Waiting in line for the bathroom with someone.

There is no bond like the one between two girls about to pee themselves after having to many lemon drop shots. You are both holding on to each other for deal life, and mumbling angry words to the girls sitting around in the bathroom. Neither of you are sure how you came to be so close, so fast, but don't care because you have to pee so bad.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
