I think it's fair to say that most people want to be a good person, and in order to do that, you have to be good to the earth, animals and/or/mostly other humans. There's a reason why the metaphor is a "staircase to heaven" and not some easier alternative- being good to all those things is a lot of ground to cover! It's hard work. You have to donate your money to charity or, if you don't have money, you're expected to volunteer your time and drive to a soup kitchen and serve food for a few hours then drive home... OR if you're really in a bind and don't have the time or the money to donate, you are either "the poor shall inherit the earth" or you have to really believe that if you did have the time and the money you would donate them.

It's like you spend your whole life doing good deeds and donating money to build the staircase, then when you die you start from the bottom and trek your way all the way up to heaven. That's a lot.

But now there's an easier way!! It's sort of like an "elevator to heaven" if you will, that runs alongside the staircase, but goes much faster and is a whole lot easier. It requires no money out of pocket and only 5 minutes of any day. Interested? I thought so. Let me spell it out for you:

A D W A P

AdWap is the Barack Obama of charity. Just like Obama made strides in universal healthcare, AdWap makes "making the world a better place" affordable and attainable to everyone despite the money that someone does or doesn't have.

All you have to do is go to the app store and download the free app AdWap, which stands for "Ads With A Purpose".

Next, you put in your email and create a password. No, AdWap won't spam your inbox with promo emails, I promise.

Then you manage your preferences. To do this, first you pick 1 of the 24 charities supported by the app to have AdWap donate money to. The second part of managing your preferences is rating the following categories by how much you like or dislike them: Sports and fitness, fashion and beauty, travel and entertainment, food and drink, art and music, technology and electronics, outdoor and nature, business and finance.

Now you sit back and let the algorithm do the work to create the most enjoyable advertisement experience for you in nanoseconds. The hard part is over. The escalator has been built in just one sitting! Can you believe it?

~~~Stay tuned, because there's a surprise just for YOU at the end!~~~
Once your information is all set up, it's time to watch some ads. You can watch 10 short ads each day, but you don't have to. Each ad is 10-30 seconds long and there is a break in between ads in case you don't want to watch anymore. For every ad you watch, the company AdWap donates money to the charity you chose. You don't have to watch all ten ads... but you're going to want to.
As if going to heaven made easy and making the world a better place wasn't enough incentive to download this app, there's just one more thing: Each ad you watch acts as one entry into a daily cash sweepstakes. It's almost like a raffle. You watch ten ads, which is like buying ten raffle tickets, and then you get ten chances to win a cash prize Every. Single. Day.
"No, that can't be right. How does the company make money?" Advertisers. Advertisers like OFF!, Scholarship Fund America, Recreational and State Park Facilities, Honest Tea, VideoFizz, Hardy's, Heinz, Dole and a lot more pay AdWap to advertise their product. 1/3 of the money goes to charity, 1/3 goes to paying their staff and 1/3 goes to the daily cash prize.
So to sum it all up, you download a free app, watch some ads whenever you feel like it, AdWap donates money to charity with every ad you watch, you get a chance to win cash on the daily, and yes, the background to my phone is a cat in sunglasses riding a moped.
Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles
These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.
Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles
The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.
Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.
What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.
Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.
We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
