The End Of The Semester As Told By Ron Swanson
Bustle

Time has gone by super fast like usual, and finals are sneaking up right behind us. The end of the semester is approaching, and the procrastination that has been building up all semester is finally screwing people over. College students everywhere are preparing themselves for sleepless nights, drinking gallons of caffeine, cramming nonstop until their eyes hurt, and stress. A crap ton of stress. With only a week or two left of the semester it's perfectly normal to be drowning in school work like that ten-page paper that you haven't even started, but is due on Tuesday. Everyone's been there once or twice, I know I certainly have, but you'll catch yourself drinking your fourth coffee at 3 AM in the library studying until you physically can't anymore and wonder if it's all worth it more than once. The end of the semester sucks. It's hard, and stressful, so here is the end of the semester as told by Ron Swanson.

When your teacher decides to do last minute paper:

When your friends try talking you into going out with them, but you can't because you need to study...

but they talk you into it, and you avoid all of your responsibilities like:

So you go to class the next day and your teacher reminds you of what's due within the next few days:

At this point your sleep schedule is non-existent, and every time your eyes close you have to push through it:

Literally, every bad thing you think could happen is happening like your computer being slow:

And the people from your group project keep asking you if you can help them with their part of it:

When your teacher asks you to turn in your last paper, but you didn't want to do it:

When the girl behind you won't stop bragging about her being so prepared for finals....

but the guy next to you wants to borrow your notes:

When you only have two days to complete everything....

so you rush through all of your projects and fluff them as much as possible:

At this point all you've been doing is school work and stress eating:

When you walk into the final feeling pretty confident about it....

but you actually take it and have this reaction:

When the post final regret kicks in, and you give yourself life advice:

But you don't really care because this means it's the start of the break:

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
