The end of the fall semester is fast approaching. After Thanksgiving, there will be only a few more weeks until that dreaded finals week is upon us! As college students, we all know how hard it gets during this time of year, and who knows about dealing with the rough stuff better than the cast of The West Wing? Here's what the end of the semester is like as told by The West Wing:
1. You may fall asleep in the library
...several times.
2. Sleep deprivation is no joke
We all get pretty cranky.
3. "I think I passed that exam!"
Take it back! Don't jinx it!
4. You loathe every credit hour you decided to sign up for
5. Run away from fun
There's no time for that
6. Your family will wonder why you aren't more excited about the holidays
It's just that I have 5 exams, 4 papers, and a presentation to give the week after Turkey Day.
7. The professor will decide to assign more homework than ever
It's not like we weren't already swimming in it, right?
8. You wonder why you bother to show up to class
If all we're doing is reviewing our homework, why did I wake up for this?
9. You start stress eating
Or in my case, continue stress eating.
10. When your professor asks what you meant to say in your paper
I don't care if you don't understand it, it made sense at 3am this morning to me so figure it out.
11. Playing off forgetting about deadlines
"What? No! Of course I remembered to submit my thesis yesterday!"
12. Some days are worse than others
13. You will go to extreme lengths to try and extend deadlines
14. Don't even try to keep those sleep-deprived eyes open any longer
Just give in and go to sleep already.
