Anyone who has seen "Friends" knows how much these characters love their food -- mainly pizza -- but do you know what foods they would most likely be?
1. Phoebe Buffay = Dive Restaurant
Anyone who has watched friends knows that Phoebe is a little wonky. Comparing Phoebe to food is not easy considering there are so many aspects to her personality. We decided that a cultured, hole-in-the-wall restaurant would suit her personality the best. The type of place where the staff is loud and you aren’t sure if anything on the menu is even edible. You leave contemplating what just happened and what you ate, but you know you need to do it again!
2. Rachel Green = Bagels
New Yorkers have strong opinions about their bagels. Rachel Green has strong opinions about everything. Whether it’s her hairless cat, her hot personal assistant, swings, or whether her and Ross were on a break. We have no doubt that bagels would be no different, which is why we believe that Rachel and bagels go hand in hand. To top it off, we are going to make Rachel be the new, fancy tie dye bagels that people are lining the streets for because what Rachel wants, Rachel gets.
3. Chandler Bing = Grilled Cheese
Chandler is the funny one of the group, he is always cracking jokes (whether they’re actually funny or not is a different story.) He is often immature and gets himself into complicated situations. We believe that Chandler would be grilled cheese and tomato soup, a childhood staple, since Chandler is basically a child in a grown ups body.
4. Monica Geller = Expensive Entrée
Monica is the control freak of the group, she wants everything to go her way. Whether that’s when she tries to clean the entire apartment or help Phoebe with her wedding. In this case, we think Monica would be an expensive dish at an upscale restaurant that she could barely afford. An entree that was about the size of a pinky finger. Classy and overpriced, this dish would be right up Monica’s alley.
5. Joey Tribbiani = Sloppy Joe
Joey is the smooth talker, or so he likes to think. Joey is like the sloppy joe sandwich that you love to eat, but is so messy to eat. Like sloppy joes, Joey is a fan favorite. He is a crowd pleaser because he is saucy, fun to with, and easy going. Situations with him might end up getting a little messy, sometimes, like the time he and Rachel started throwing wet paper towels at the wall or were dropping spaghetti on the floor. Make sure to tuck a napkin into your shirt.
6. Ross Geller = Eggs Benedict
Ross is thought to be the pretentious one of the "Friends" group. He is constantly correcting people and believes himself to be better than others -- after all, he is a doctor. Whether it’s saying the wrong name at his wedding or determining if he and Rachel were on a break, Ross is a hard egg to crack and he always keeps us on his toes. Ross couldn’t be just any dish, he had to be complicated, something that wasn’t eaten every day. That’s why we believe that Ross would be eggs benedict.
7. Janice Hosenstein = Kinder Egg
The annoying squeal and loud laugh are classic to this character. Because of her wild personality you either love or love to hate Janice, which kind of makes her bittersweet, like some chocolate. That’s why we decided to say Janice is like a kinder egg, you never know what you’re going to get out of a kinder egg, just like how you never know what the next thing to come out of Janice’s mouth is going to be. Also, kinder eggs are illegal in America and it might be a good idea if Janice was as well.
8. Gunther = Strawberry Candy
We all know that Grandmother, or slightly odd family friend, who constantly has those strawberry candies on hand. Gunter is that person in "Friends." He is slightly off beat and odd. Quiet, hard on the outside but a complete softy on the inside. Gunter may appear to be a monotone coffeeshop worker, but his love for Rachel is proof of his soft, gooey center.
