The Best Years

Don't let the "best years of your life" get behind you. The ultimate bucket list for those who love to travel.

The Best Years
Neena Marie

I can’t believe it’s here. In less than a month I’ll be starting my senior year of college. Soon enough, graduation will be just around the corner and I can’t help but think about how incredibly fast my four years have gone by. And as sad as it is going to be to hear that “the best years of my life” will be over, it gets me excited to plan for my future.

I can’t argue that these past few years have held countless amazing memories. However, I want to have the mindset that I will always be making amazing memories, no matter how old I get. Although I know everything that lies in front of me after I graduate will be extremely different, such as having no more classes, no more frat parties, a lot more responsibility, a career, and Monday night plans that won't consist of meeting up with my sorority sisters for chapter, I am ready to fill my life up with different adventures. I want once in a lifetime experiences and opportunities that will leave me every time with a feeling that I am living my life to the fullest. I want every year to be the “best year.” So as my college days are numbered, I decided to make The Ultimate Bucketlist. Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
