Whether you've got a Tinder date, a long-term boyfriend, or just a gal pal date, you've got to try these spots!

1. A day filled with all of the tourist spots.

If you've never been to The Statue of Liberty or The Empire State Building, here's your date. While exploring the tourist hotspots, be sure to pick up the typical "I Love NY" shirt for a couple photoshoot.

2. A walk on the High Line or along Chelsea Piers.

The High Line, an escape from the city streets, is the perfect spot to take a night stroll. Also, a few blocks away is the Chelsea Pier, the perfect spot to feel a sea breeze and look at the Jersey skyline.

3. Exploring any and every museum.

Chances are, there's at least one museum that you and your date haven't been to- go explore it together! My favorite is the MoMA, where you'll find half-bitten apples on display.

4. A stereotypical picnic at Central Park.

If you're feeling romantic, Central Park is your destination. It's on my bucket list to have a picnic here! If you're feeling extra spontaneous, take a ride on the gondola or a carriage.

5. Restaurant hopping for a three-course-meal.

Appetizers and drinks at Park Avenue Tavern, entrees at The Red Hat, and dessert at Magnolia Bakery - it's customizable! Although you'll be stuffed to the max, you'll have three restaurants under your belt and a date to remember.

6. Watch your favorite flick at Bryant Park.

For a Summer night date, check out the Bryant Park Summer Film Festival where they're sure to show one of your favorite films. It might be crowded, but that just means you'll have to sit closer!

7. Rummage through the Dover Street Market or the Chelsea Market.

It's always fun to window shop in New York City, but especially at thrift stores and street markets. Chelsea Market is my favorite due to the perfect location and variety of treats they offer.

8. Skimming the books at Strand Bookstore.

Strand Bookstore can seem overwhelming, but once you're off the first floor, it's the perfect date spot! Scour through novels and cookbooks together, maybe you'll even find a recipe to cook your special someone.

9. Catching brunch in SoHo.

Sunday's are for brunch and where better to brunch than SoHo? Bacon with your boyfriend- there's nothing better than that.

10. Having a "Beach Day" at Coney Island.

Coney Island is the perfect place to pretend that you live on the beach with your loved one. Whether you're winning your significant other a bear at the ring toss or relaxing by the water, you're sure to have fun!

11. Take a cruise on the Staten Island Ferry.

It's always fun to pretend that you're on a cruise while riding the Staten Island Ferry. Grab a top spot for a windy ride, which is the perfect end to a date.

12. Appease your sweet tooth with 10Below Ice Cream.

If you're a traditionalist who loves grabbing a cone on a date, here's a way to take it to the next level. 10Below rolls your ice cream right in front of you and carefully tops it to your choosing; now that's a date!

Now you just need to find a guy....

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
