Kenzie Clark. Clinique counter manager. Zombie makeup fanatic.

If you're into makeup, cosplay, and beauty products, you have been missing out on a major beauty blogger from our very own city! Sure she's related to me, but I promise you, from an unbiased perspective, she is definitely a talent. Kenzie has stunning abilities in hair, make-up, beauty products, and has taken her talent to Instagram to share her looks and review products she tries out. Take a look for yourself!

Although Kenzie loves making others feel glamorous for any occasion, she has a great passion for special effects and Halloween make-up. From zombie effects to lovely mermaid scales, she loves trying out new techniques and cosmetics for realistic costume looks.

She also does stunning formal make-up, as well as natural everyday looks, and strives for everyone to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. The beauty specialist has a lot of experience in weddings, engagement photos, and dance makeup, making her an up-and-coming beautician in the industry- especially in Grand Rapids, MI.

Kenzie first got into makeup while applying it to others in musical theatre during High School. She also found it to be a relief for her self-esteem and anxiety, so she began watching YouTube videos and teaching herself new techniques.

Beautification is not only a source of relief for her, as well as something to teach, but it also functions as a creative outlet. "I find make-up to not only be a confidence boost and a way to get pampered, but it's just an amazing way to be creative." It's a form of art for her, and something she loves to share with others.

As a manager at the Clinique counter in Ulta Beauty- Kenzie also has access to many products to review and recommend. She posts these, as well as new looks and special effects make-up on her Instagram for anyone interested in beauty to read up on.

If you have an interest in hair, make-up, and skin care, be sure to check out more from Kenzie Clark. She posts often and loves sharing new products from the beauty industry with her followers. To learn more about her process, booking inquiries, and to see some gorgeous looks to try out yourself, be sure to follow Kenzie's instagram- @kcdoesmakeup

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
