For the majority of us who live here, it's safe to say we've all heard the sarcastic "There are actually towns more west than Amherst?" But while most people view it as the middle of nowhere, those who have grown up here know the true beauty that lies in the Berkshires. We are the ones lucky enough to know all of the local gems that you cannot find anywhere else in Massachusetts. Whether it be the amazing food, the absolutely gorgeous views and the most beautiful hikes, or the breathtaking scenery in the fall and the long days out on the lake, the Berkshires truly is the most wonderful place. Although it not may not be a big city like Boston, it's a place that gives us something you can't get anywhere else and it's very special that we are lucky enough to call it home.
