Let's be honest here–we all love a good cupcake. Cupcakes are life. Back in my high school days, I would bake a batch of cupcakes nearly every week. Everyone would always pester me for a cupcake or two, and sometimes people would steal my cupcake containers. Let's not dwell on that, though. I even wrote a recipe book on cupcakes for my senior project. So, I can sort of say that I am a published author, even though I only sold one copy. Thanks, Mom. Everyone loves a good standard vanilla or chocolate cupcake, but sometimes, it's good to be bold and try something new. So here are some drool-worthy cupcakes that you should make, or get someone with some mad baking skills to make for you.

1. Guinness Cupcakes

I know, I know. Guinness in the form of a cupcake. If you aren't a lover of Guinness, you would think it would be nasty, but you are absolutely wrong. It is delicious and by far my favorite cupcake to make and eat. Reasoning why it is so delicious is because Guinness and chocolate are a match made in heaven. Looks can be deceiving, but these taste absolutely delicious. These are actually pretty easy to make, so if you aren't necessarily a great baker, you can't really do anything bad or crazy to mess these up.

Yeah. You read that right. Wine cupcakes. That little bit of wine you have leftover can now be put to good use! This recipe calls for Zinfandel because it pairs well with chocolate. Make sure if you use a different wine that you pair it with something it goes well with. Nobody likes a bad pairing.
