When it comes to talking about my best friends, this quote is absolutely perfect. I met both of you about two years ago when you joined Sigma Kappa. In that short amount of time you two became my very best friends. People I can be myself around, joke with, and people I can trust. Sometimes I don’t know how I got so lucky to gain a beautiful friendship like the one we all share. Our friendship is one that will last beyond our collegiate years. Obviously you guys will be two of my bridesmaids, our husbands and kids will become the best of friends, and we will be the grannies driving their Buick 10 MPH under the speed limit as they head to brunch.
So I wanted to thank you both:
For being there
Thank you for picking me up when I was down, thank you for being tough with me when you needed to be, thank you for the endless laughs that turn into tears. All in all, thank you for being true friends.
For endless sushi dates
There is nothing I enjoy more than going to Blue for sushi happy hour with you both. First thing, you don’t judge me for how much I stuff my face with sushi rolls and edamame, so I thank you for that. The real reason I love these hangouts are because we are able to vent about literally anything and everything, laugh about stupid shit, and just have fun.
For wedding talk
Y’all know I’m going to have to have some co-maid of honors in my wedding because there is no way I could pick just one person. You both know me to my core and have been there for me whenever I needed you. Plus, you will both have fantastic stories for your speeches.
For group texts
If there is one thing for sure I can definitely not read some of these while in work or class because I would be crying of laughter. Sometimes I will randomly remember key points in some of these texts and randomly laugh or smile in public causing me to look like an idiot.
For Endless Selfies
Let’s be real, sorority girls love taking pictures. Thank you both for taking a best friend picture at literally every single event whether it be formal, sushi dates, philanthropy events, meeting, or just because we look fierce that day.
