Thanksgiving is just around the corner, but have you thought about what you're thankful for this year?

As as college student, I a more than thankful for my parents and all they do for me. It hasn't been until this year that I have really opened my eyes and realized all they do for me.

Being on my own for the first time has made me really miss all the things that they have done for me over the years.

I took all the small things they did for me for granted like doing my laundry, doing the dishes, reminding me to do things. Now that they aren't here to tell me things and do stuff, it's all me now.

At first, it was hard, but I have adjusted just fine. It really is an eye opener all the small things you miss that your parents do for you.

So, this Thanksgiving, I want to thank them more than ever for all they do for me. Mom and dad, thank you so much for all you do for me.
