Even though we don't always talk everyday, and you might be away most of the time for business. I just wanted to show my appreciation for you. Usually I call, or we get you a card but this should tell you everything.

I might annoy you a little too much, considering we have the same personality, and I might ask for help too often – but I just wanted to say how thankful I am for you.

No matter what I decide to do, you have alway supported me. Whether it was studying abroad, or choosing to play the craziest sports, you have always stood by me.

The truth hurts sometimes, but it's important to always be honest. Thanks for always being honest with me and telling me things that I needed to hear, even when I didn't want to hear them.

Thank you for teaching me how to joke around.

Although your jokes are old, and corny, they are still jokes and they are still meant to be funny. You have taught me to be appreciative of all the times we laugh together and joke around.

Thanks for loving me.

I've made a lot of mistakes in the past, but throughout them you have never stopped loving me. Being the first child made me the test child; even though I made a lot of mistakes, you were still there.

Thank you for making sacrifices for me.

It's hard having three kids, but I just wanted to say thanks for all the sacrifices you have made for me. It's not easy moving to a new country and starting a life over again.
