If I'm being completely honest with you right now, I don't know how to start this article because I have no words for how much these people mean to me. We met in August and slowly, but surely, we all became best friends. I've been in many choirs and have many choir families but none of them compare to this one.
Over the past 8 months, I've spent more time, laughed more laughs, and went to bed happy, with a big smile on my face because I couldn't believe that God gave me 12 of the best people I know to be some of my best friends. From many games of heads up to singing country songs in Santa Fe after they've already closed to the long practices to playing Polish and football, I wouldn't trade any of the memories for the world. Even during the practices where I just want to go home and I would rather be doing anything else but running the same song 500 times, y'all somehow make me laugh and make it a little more tolerable.
Thank you all for always listening to me complain and complaining right there along with me. Thank you for loving food just as much as I do (because this means there's never a shortage of food.) Thank you for encouraging me and loving me. Thank you for teaching me to throw a frisbee. Thank you for everything you have done for me and will do for me in the future.
Y'all have made me realize that it's not about where you are in life, it's the people you surround yourself with. You all are my best friends and even though we are all going our separate ways, I will treasure each and every one of you in my heart. I love you lots. SSCC CSS forever.
