To My Fellow Odyssey Creators, Thank You
Odyssey

Thank you, Odyssey creators.

As an EIC, I want to thank every Odyssey creator for their words and wisdom. We have been given a platform that is allowing us to express our ideas and emotions for the world to read. Every week, I read articles that make me smile, laugh uncontrollably, cry, and also evoke strong emotions. The power of your words is more than I can express and I encourage you to keep on writing your fullest potential. You are all worth it, your words are worth it and should be read by everyone. Our unconventional friendship is something I never thought would work, but somehow, it magically does. I know I am not your superior, I know I am your mentor and friend. I know that every week is an opportunity to express endless thoughts that have been preoccupying your brain. So, thank you.

To my team, I appreciate every single one of you, old and new. I was given the chance to start a team that is built with creators that have drive and passion and for the time I have been here, I feel more than proud of the team I've built. It was never easy, but nothing is. We have had our ups and downs and lack of momentum, but the drive is always there, I know it. Life happens unexpectedly, but your words each week feel theraputic. I know this is just our beginning. We are going to grow and this journey ahead of us is only going to get better from here. I hope I can inspire you and I hope you continue to allow me in your creative minds. I'll always be there for you. MOF we RULE.

To my wonderful Managing Editor, I have earned myself another amazing and trustworthy friend. Thank you for always being there for me and teaching me how to be successful. I have learned more than you can imagine. Our weekly calls always end in smiles and laughter and encouragement. Your advice and mentoring is exactly what I needed as I embraced on this wonderful journalism journey. It saddens me the distance, but I know you will only make me achieve my goals as the months go by. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU so much.

Thank you, Odyssey for allowing me to sit down, and let my hands string words that create messages that speak to every audience. This platform has been my everything. I'll always be eternally grateful for you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
