Everyone has two sets of friends: the friends you hangout with all the time, and your "school" friends. You know the type of friends I mean, the ones you don't see much unless you're in class or studying for class, but you know always have your back. They may not always be around but you have a lot to thank them for.
Thank you for re-teaching me all the material without complaint. I know I'm not the smartest in the group but thank you for never letting me feel that way. You guys always take the time to explain the things I don't understand, no matter how easy it is, without making me feel like an idiot.
Thank you for never judging me (at least to my face). Those late night, six hour long study sessions are brutal for everyone. I've said some pretty weird things once I've gotten a little too overtired and unfocused, and none of you ever judged me. You've seen me laugh myself into actual upset tears in the library one too many times, let me cry it out, and then make me get back to the task at hand.
Thank you for including me. You guys took me under your wing when it came to this "school" friend group. You all were already friends but let me become part of your circle and I really appreciate it.
Thank you for all the laughs, even though most of them were at me. I know I'm the comic relief of the group and I'm more than okay with that. So thanks for laughing at me when I sigh when I'm bored in class or when I poke fun at our very foreign professor's accent a little too loud for the whole class to hear.
Thank you for ranting with me. When the homework is a little too hard or we weren't even taught the material that's going to be on the exam, I know you guys are there waiting for my complaints because I know you have the same ones I do.
Thanks for all the "what the hell is going on" looks. I know I'm not the only one that has no clue what's happening when I turn to see if you guys understand and you're staring right back at me with that look. It makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who thinks the professor is basically speaking another language.
Thank you for helping me pass all my classes. Honestly without you guys, I'd be a very below average student. You push me when I think I don't have anything left in the tank the night before exams and make sure I understand the topics were going over. So thank you for being my support system, my partners during group activities, and most importantly, the best "school" friends I could ever ask for.
