Even when you are miles away from me, you still have one of the biggest impacts on my life everyday. From our FaceTime calls to our obsessive tagging on Facebook, you have continued to show me unconditional love and support. For that I am so thankful that even though we aren't side-by-side anymore, you will forever be by mine.
First of all, thank you for always being there for me. Getting older and moving away from your hometown is hectic and you grow apart from a lot of people you never thought you would. But here we are, still standing strong. I am forever grateful for you and the love you give me from hours away. We grew together into somewhat functional adults, instead of growing apart like so many best friends do.
I live for our random FaceTimes and phone calls, because we get to rant about everything in our lives. Even when we don't fully know who each other is talking about, we still listen and give advice. All the boys we complain about and have absolutely no clue what's going on, you pretend to know everything and know exactly what to say. A quick call on the way to work is all that it takes to turn my whole day around.
Thank you for keeping me up with all the drama going on in our hometown. Without you I would never know half of the things I know. Thank you for actually hanging out with me when I come home on breaks. You make it a point to see me and take me out on a date, which means so much to me. Seeing you when I come home is my favorite thing about coming home, so thank you for taking the time and seeing me.
By the way, our dates are great and no boy can ever compare to them. Dinner, a movie and dessert, like what else could a girl ask for? You are everything I need and more. You teach me constantly how much I am worth and what I deserve. And it doesn't hurt that we take the best candid pictures ever.
Thank you for the endless adventures, the drives to school in morning, the mental breakdowns, the coffee trips, the dates, talks, FaceTimes and your friendship. I don't know what I would do if you didn't have my back. From hours and miles away, you have managed to stay my best friend and for that I thank you. I love you more than you'll ever know.
