Thank you.
When I come home from class, I don’t come home to my friends; I come home to my second family. Never in my life did I think that I would meet the most amazing people in college and get the chance to have a relationship with them like they show on TV.
There’s no one else I’d rather go out on the town with because when we go out, we make some of the best memories that we can immediately talk about as soon as we take our shoes off and crash on the couch. On the other hand, staying in on a Friday night isn’t all that bad when you have roommates like these. Thank you for making every night the best, whether it’s having a study party in the living room or busting out dance moves in the kitchen. You girls make every night a slumber party that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would be jealous of.
I owe you a lot. I owe you a bag of potato chips and a few cans of soda, but I owe you so much more than that. I’ve learned from each one of you something different, and you have made me an all-around better person. You have made me more outgoing, confident and compassionate, and I can’t thank you enough. You have opened my eyes to so many new things. Thanks to you all, I have tried new foods, heard new music, and gone on adventures I would never have conquered alone. I have learned so much about you, and because of that, I have learned so much about myself.
I have to thank you for some of the best laughs I’ve ever had. We have more inside jokes than I can even count, and we make new ones every night. Living here is never boring when I have you all by my side. I’m honestly surprised that MTV hasn’t made a reality show about us yet. Whether we are venting, having heart-to-hearts, or just talking about our days, our conversations always end in laughs and smiles. I’m so grateful to have three sets of ears to listen to me, no matter how dumb my topic of conversation may be. One of my favorite parts of my day is coming home and listening to how everyone’s day was. Thank you for always being there for me, and I hope I can always be here for you.
Not to brag, but if I had to say it, I would say we are the ultimate roommate goals. Thank you for playing board games with me. Thank you for sharing dinners with me. Thank you for doing impromptu photo shoots with me. Thank you for grocery shopping with me. Thank you for cleaning up with me. Thank you for our mall trips. Thank you for having conversations about cute boys with me. Thank you for binge-watching reality TV with me. Thank your for all of the little things, and thank you for all of the big things. Thank you for being there for my tears, my laughs, and for never failing to have my back. There’s nobody else I would rather live with than you guys. I’m so blessed to have found such a perfect group of people to call my roommates and best friends.
