Dear Roommate,

As the days turn into months and the months turn into semesters, our time together becomes shorter and shorter. While I will miss you over the summer, I just wanted to say thank you for all the memories and the better person that you have made me over the year.

College would not be as fun if you were not roomie/best friend through it all. Honestly, I am pretty surprised we are not of sick of each other by now, but I am definitely not complaining! I am so glad we have got to do college together. We may get into some trouble sometimes, but at least we're getting into trouble together.

Honestly, the year is almost over, and not only have we made it this far without hurting or killing each other, but also we have become inseparable best friends. Thank you for putting up with me and making this year unforgettable.

I knew since the day I walked into our dorm and you made me a drink that being roommates was going to be nothing but a good time. You are hands down one of my best friends and that's never going to change. I know sometimes we get on each other's nerves, but when you live five feet away from each other, that's going to happen. Thank you for never making me feel like crap, and offering to beat up whoever makes me feel that way. Thank you for being my person.

Thank you for all you do. Thank you for never saying no to ordering Piehole or going to Los Betos at two in the morning. Thank you for being down to stay in and watch Netflix and eat a bunch of junk food. Thank you for all of our random Snapchats. Thank you for being there for me and listening to me when I needed to vent to you about hard classes, girl drama, and terrible frat boys (because I vented about them a lot). Thank you for always being there for anything and everything it means a lot. Thank you for going through college with me and being more than just a roommate. My college experience would have been completely different if I didn’t have you to go through it with me, and I honestly don’t know how I went the last 19 years of my life without you by my side.

I know I have said thank you a lot in this article but just know I am so incredibly lucky that my roommate became my best friend in my freshman year of college. There is no one else that I would want to spend my freshman year of college with and the thought of going an entire summer living without you is one of the saddest thoughts ever. You're my absolute best friend and I can't thank you enough for making my freshman year of college one of the best years of my life. I couldn't have done it without you.

Love,

Your best friend

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
