Mom,
Even though Mother's Day was yesterday, I still want to write this letter to show my appreciation for all that you do. Even when I don't show it, everything that you do really does mean the world to me. I don't know what I would do without you, and I hope that I won't have to find out for a long time to come. I have so much to thank you and repay you for, but I know that I'll never have the money or the time to make up for everything you've done, so I hope that this is enough for now.
Thank you for supporting me in everything that I have ever done. I know that it wasn't easy for you, especially doing it on your own, and that makes it mean even more to me. Without your support, I might never have discovered my love for music and theatre, so I will be eternally grateful.
Thank you for being my chauffeur, my chef, and, sometimes, my maid. You didn't have to take the time to do all of that for me, but you did it anyway, even when you were stretched thinner than a sheet of paper.
Thank you for making sure that we knew how much you loved us. Even when there was so much else that you needed to do, we always knew that we could turn to you for anything that we could possibly need.
Thank you for being everything I needed you to be. When I needed someone to be on my team, I knew I could count on you, even if I wasn't right, because sometimes having a friend was more important than getting the correct answer. When I needed my thoughts and opinions to be challenged, you were more than willing to provide that, too.
Finally, thank you for being my mom. Even when things got rough, you were always there for me, and that means so much to me. I know that I can never thank you enough, but I'll spend the rest of my life trying to show you how much I love and appreciate you. So, through all of this, what I'm trying to say is thank you.
