Dear Coffee,
I'd like to start by thanking my dad for introducing me to you. I've never tasted anything better in my life, and I knew it was the start of a great relationship. It's been about four years now, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
Thank you for getting me through the late nights. During freshman year of college, I often had to stay up later than I expected. But you were always there supporting me. You made sure that I stayed awake and got all my work done, even if it meant staying up all night.
Thank you for getting me through the early mornings. Following those nights, where I hardly got any sleep, came the early mornings when I was in desperate need for help again. You were there for me like always. Even if I needed one cup or seven throughout the day, you made sure you were there.
Thank you for getting me through those unexpected times when I just needed you. Whether it was warm coffee or iced coffee, you were always there. You're my favorite when I get you from Wawa, so I have spent a pretty decent amount of money on you. But even when I am at school, you taste just as good from Starbucks or Blue Moose.
As I am drinking you right now, you are preparing me for my day. I can't wait for all the many years we have left together. Lastly, thank you, coffee, for being my soulmate.
Love,
Erika
