Dear Mom,

You are the most important person in my life. I do not know what I would do without you. You are the reason why I am the person who I am today. This is a thank you letter for all that you do for me on a daily basis. I could not live my life without your continued love! Honestly, I don’t want to ever imagine my life without you in it. I love you more than words can ever express and I always will!

To start, you are so incredibly special to me. You are practically perfect in every way. You are my queen, my role model, and my best friend! You have influenced my life drastically and you do so much for me every single day without hesitation. You always think of my needs before your own and you never fail to drop everything that you are doing if I need help in a situation.

Next, you are my number one supporter, fan, and helper. You have come to all of my concerts, recitals, game tournaments, musicals, karate tests and any other event I invited you to attend. Whenever I need you, you are always there. You encourage me to do my best, be the best version of me and put my best foot forward in everything that I do. You have taught me how to set goals in my life and how to achieve those goals. You have also taught me to dream larger than life and if my dreams don’t scare me, then they are definitely not large enough.

Finally, you have instilled in me the ability to believe in myself. You have taught me that if I believe in myself, I can accomplish anything. You have taught me that even when I fail, it’s OK to be human and that making mistakes are a part of life. Thank you for continually telling me the truth and always being there to pick me up when I fall. You allow me to talk to you about anything. Most importantly, you are a superstar and I love you so much! You have had such an indescribable impact on my life. I am so lucky and thankful for you every single day!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
